Attitudes

Concern about the environment is high, especially amongst people in Portugal and Russia (93% v Europe average 81%).

Generally people are taking positive steps to reduce their carbon footprint.

Most environmentally responsible brands

Duracell is the household battery with “the best reputation on environmental issues” in 13 out of 16 countries. MacDonald’s won in 11 countries, although voting levels in this category (fast food) were relatively low. Tesco won the most votes amongst supermarkets in UK + 3 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
